Stakato Nest

Stakato Nest is a revamped location that was significantly overhauled in the Lineage 2: Gracia Plus chronicles.

Monsters here are reinforced with the Earth Attribute. It is highly recommended to have at least 150 Earth Resistance. The zone inhabits various mob types, ranging from melee to mages; furthermore, all of them are aggressive and social, making them easy to round up. I would recommend this location for Warlords (WL) or Destroyers using polearms for leveling from level 81 and above. It is an excellent alternative if the Forge of the Gods (FOG) is overcrowded. In terms of efficiency, the XP gain here feels about 1.5 times higher.

While hunting in this location, rewards include whole Dynasty weapons, Attribute Stones, and Dynasty parts; additionally, Dynasty weapon parts and recipes can be spoiled. At 1x rates, I managed to obtain approximately 3–5 Holy or Dark stones per hour.

Quests

1. Only What I Can Enjoy (In the World, I am the Only One to Trust)

  • Start NPC: Kintaijin (at the entrance to Stakato Nest).

  • Requirement: Level 81+.

  • Objective: Hunt Spiked Stakatos and Cannibal Stakatos inside the cave until you collect 25 Stakato fangs.

  • Reward: Experience (XP), Skill Points (SP), and Adena.

Crucial Note: Completing this allows you to teleport deeper into the caves and provides the opportunity to kill the Raid Boss, Stakato Cannibal Captain. To teleport, you will also need the "Multi-Colored Jewel" item, obtained from the quest "What Item is That?".

2. What Item is That?

  • Start NPC: Kintaijin (at the cave entrance).

  • Objective: Venture deep into the nest to hunt monsters. Kill Spiked Stakatos and Cannibal Stakatos to drop the quest item Dirty Bead.

  • Requirement: Collect 500 beads and return to Kintaijin to receive the Multi-Colored Jewel.

You will also receive Growth Accelerant, which is required to summon the Level 84 Raid Boss, Stakato Cannibal Captain. Be warned: this boss is nasty. He hits random targets, applies heavy debuffs, and has a high HP pool. He is harder to kill than Queen Shyeed. Bottom line: bring a proper party.

Summoning the Raid Boss:

With the Growth Accelerant in hand, gather your party and head deep into the location to find rooms containing "Cocoons" (refer to the map attached to this article). Use the Growth Accelerant on a Mysterious Cocoon. After killing it, all party members will receive one of the following items:

  • Small Stakato Cocoon

  • Large Stakato Cocoon

Double-clicking these items grants a random reward with a 30–50% success rate. In short, you might get NOTHING, just the way Koreans like it. Rewards are distributed to everyone in the party that lands the finishing blow; no specific quests are required for the cocoon rewards.

Reward List:

  • Forgotten Scroll: Hide

  • Forgotten Scroll: Dual Dagger Mastery (Seven Signs)

  • Forgotten Scroll: Magician's Enlightenment

  • Forgotten Scroll: Archer's Will / Fighter's Will

  • Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S)

  • Scroll: Enchant Armor (S) — 2 pcs.

  • High-Grade Life Stone: Level 80 / 82

  • Giant's Codex – Oblivion / Discipline

  • Icarus Weapon Recipes (S80)

3. The Zero Hour!

  • Start NPC: Mercenary Kahman (located at the camp near the teleport point to Stakato Nest/Swamp of Screams from Rune).

  • Objective: He tasks you with killing Queen Shyeed, the Raid Boss residing in the Stakato Nest.

  • Reward: Upon killing the RB, you receive Queen Shyeed’s Fang. Deliver it to Kahman to receive Kahman’s Supply Box.

Upon opening the box, you may receive:

  • Giant’s Codex – Discipline

  • Giant’s Codex – Oblivion

Additional Location Features

You can receive a beneficial buff if the Queen is dead. If she is alive, you will instead receive a detrimental debuff. The buff is relatively minor; it feels like a flat increase to Attack Speed and Critical Rate.
