Hero Rift Map

I don’t know what practical purpose it serves, but you have seen it. On the other hand, we can clearly see the map of probably one of the first “instances” in the Lineage series. An instance is a zone that can be entered only by a group or solo; the main idea is to prevent other players from interfering with you. This is almost true for the Rift, since other players can still interfere with farming Anakazel if they encounter her before you do. But in all other respects, the Rift is indeed one of the calmest places for leveling and farming, especially relevant for densely populated servers and servers with active wars. The main interest in these rooms lies in monsters with an increased chance of spoiling high-level resources, such as Crafted Leather
and Stone of Purity
. At low levels, enchant scrolls spoil very well
especially profitable if you are enchanting C-grade equipment. In later patches, and especially in High Five, the relevance of the Rift has greatly decreased because outside spots are much more profitable in terms of farming, spoil, and basically everything. Therefore, you may encounter HF servers where the Rift is being actively reworked in every possible way: adding tastier drops, increasing the number of mobs and experience in the room, but this guide applies exclusively to more or less canonical PTS servers. In short, on HF PTS servers it makes sense to go to the Rift just for fun at low levels for over-enchanting C-grade weapons or for upgrading SA from level 12 to 14.
And lastly regarding SA
. Here they are leveled only from 12 to 14, with a 15% chance, randomly for any group member. This was important to mention, because not knowing this nuance, I tried to level SA in the Rift starting from level 10, and of course nothing worked out for me. It is also important to note that on patches such as Interlude/c4, SA can be leveled calmly from any level, from 1 to 13, randomly for any group member with a 5% chance. As for patches such as Kamael and Gracia, I will remain silent about how it was there; honestly, I don’t know.
How to get into the Rift?
-
The first requirement is the consumable Dimensional Fragment
. It is obtained via a quest,
which can be taken from the catacombs teleporter. The essence of the quest is simple — just kill monsters in the catacombs. The second way is to buy fragments on the market. - To enter the Hero Rift, 36 Dimensional Fragment are required per character. The lower the Rift level, the lower the entrance cost.
- You can teleport to the Rift from the NPC with whom you register for the catacombs during the winning week. The second way is via the “orb” teleporter, which lets you into the catacombs.
- You can enter through the “orb” even without catacomb registration or after losing the festival.
- Entrance to mob rooms is carried out through NPCs. Each NPC has a unique title; we need Rift Post Hero.
Description of the room with RB Anakazel 78 lvl
Red Room (Red Room) A room with dark red lighting.
This is, in fact, the dwelling of Anakazel level 78. The boss is easy, but tricky. Easily killed by a single buffed destroyer. On early patches he cancels and stuns a lot. In HF I don’t remember having any problems with him at all; I calmly killed him even with a Warlord with support and CoV. Do not forget SA of at least level 12. The drop includes S-grade jewelry and Saint Spear
and parts for it. In fact, this is very tasty for a start. You can make quite good money early on by leveling SA into ARKs. It is most profitable to level Blue SA, as you have probably guessed. SS parts will also be very highly valued at the beginning of any patch; TT parts are extremely valued on low-rate c4–interlude servers.
Guide to farming Anakazel:
Hero Rift — Summary
-
One of the first instances in Lineage II: a stable location for farming and leveling, especially on high-population servers.
-
Core value: resource spoiling (Crafted Leather, Stone of Purity), low-level scrolls (EWC/EAC), and Soul Crystal (SA) leveling.
-
On High Five PTS, Rift is significantly less efficient than open-world spots → it is mainly relevant for "fun" or specific goals:
-
Over-enchanting C-grade weapons.
-
Leveling Soul Crystals from stage 12 to 14.
-
SA (Key Mechanism)
-
High Five (HF): SA levels only from stage 12 to 14; ~15% success rate, randomly assigned to any party member.
-
C4 / Interlude: SA levels from stage 1 to 13; ~5% success rate.
-
Anything below stage 12 on HF is useless in this instance.
How to Enter
-
Requires Dimensional Fragments (obtained via the "In Search of Fragments" quest in Catacombs or from the Market).
-
Entry to Hero Rift costs 36 fragments per character (lower tiers require fewer fragments).
-
Teleport via the Rift Post NPC (the "Globe") located inside any Catacombs or Necropolis, regardless of Seal registration or victory status.
Anakazel (Red Room)
-
Anakazel lvl 78, a relatively easy Raid Boss.
-
On HF, it can be cleared without issues (even by a Warlord with support).
-
Drop: S-grade jewelry, Saint Spear, and key materials/pieces; highly profitable during the early server progression.
-
Requires a minimum Stage 12 Soul Crystal.
Standard Rooms
-
Yellow Room: Contains Keymasters and chests (largely obsolete on HF).
-
Fake Yellow / Halls / Cellars: Various configurations of Soldiers, Capes, and mobs:
-
Spoil for Enchant Scrolls.
-
Spoil for S-grade weapon/armor pieces.
-
Threats: Paralysis, AoE attacks, and Martyrs (self-destructing mobs).
-
Small rooms should almost always be skipped for better efficiency.
